In my opinion it was easier before the pandemic to make art and sell local, but due to job losses and economic conditions it's much harder now. This is a tough time but also the motivation I needed to expand my knowledge. I started looking at ways for an artist to make money online. My first project was to create or publish a book on Amazon KDP. This was a whole new learning process for me, but if you already know how to use some programs you may be well on your way. Many people are very successful with selling their books on Amazon. To be honest it takes time and you need to put in the effort. Some books sell better than others and once you know which ones are more successful you can focus more on that niche. It's very important to promote your books because there are already so many books on Amazon which makes it harder for buyers to notice your book.
