Every Artist needs a Swatchbook! When you're an Art Supply addict like me and you have many pencil sets in your collection you may need to do swatches to keep track of all the colors of each set. With swatches to go back to it makes your next artwork just easier. It's very frustrating to search for that one color you just had. And also it makes it a little easier to just take a peek and see what colors would be perfect. So I decided to make a swatches book. Artist Block no more! Tips to overcome Artist block.

Usually when I dont have the time I have so many ideas for artwork projects I want to start, but when I actually do have some free time I can't remember half of it. And then there's also that famous artist block. We all get it from time to time. There's a few steps you can take to overcome this block and start creating again... Here's what I do to get my creative juices flowing again: *Get more rest! I must admit this is a hard one for me because I'm a bit of a night owl, but one thing is for sure you can't focus on something when you are tired. Recharge a bit!😀 *Go through your old sketchbooks. Even those that you now feel aren't any good because you just might get inspired or get an idea for a stunning artwork. In my previous post I mentioned print on demand as a means of income for artists. I suggested Merch by Amazon and Redbubble. There are many others and you should find the right one for you. I also like Teespring. They are much like Redbubble. Print on demand is a fun way for artists to make money. You do not have to keep stock or worry about orders and shipping, because the Print on demand platform you chose handle all of those. All you have to do is be creative and draw/create great designs that people will want to buy on various items. Do not use any copyrighted fonts and images, because you might get into trouble.
